Welcome to a new year, new school, and new faces. My name is Jon Ray, and I am the Principal here at Bonsall West. I can’t begin to tell you how proud and excited I am of Bonsall West Elementary, and particularly, the Bonsall West Community. Our kids are very excited about school, and you can just sense the potential in each and every child’s face. They are anxiously awaiting our wisdom, guidance, and teaching.
My primary goal at Bonsall West is to unite the community and the school. Research shows that the more community oriented a school is, the more successful the students are. We, however, did not need research to tell us this. I have already discovered that the Bonsall West community is full of tradition and ol’ fashioned values; things that allow children to prosper. My philosophy is to capture these traditions/values, and allow them to grow.
