The Bonsall Elementary Preschool is a tuition-based preschool for children ages 3-5. We currently have openings at the preschool, so if you would like your child to attend, please call 760-631-5218 for more information. The Preschool hours are:
DROP-OFF/PICK-UP:
Morning class begins at 7:45 a.m. promptly. If you arrive early, please wait in the foyer until this time. Pick-up time for morning preschool is 10:45 a.m. (A charge will apply for parents who arrive to pick up their children after 10:50 a.m.) Afternoon class starts at 11:45 a.m. promptly. Please wait in the foyer until this time. ALL children must be picked up by 2:45 p.m. (A charge will apply for parents who arrive to pick up their children after 2:50 p.m.)
You will need to sign your child in and out each day. Children will not be released to anyone under the age of 18 unless it is the child's parent. Also, children will not be released to anyone who is not authorized for pick-up on the child's paperwork.
SNACK:
Each child will be assigned a day to bring snack to share with the class. A snack schedule/calendar will be sent home each month with your child's assigned day, along with a list of snack suggestions. (Note: We can ALWAYS use napkins and cups.)
EXTRA CLOTHES:
ALL children are reuired to have a set of extra clothes in their cubbies, including a top, bottom, socks, and underpants. It works well to put these clothes in a large freezer bag labeled with the child's name.
SHARE DAY:
Share day is every Thursday. On this day, children may bring one small toy only to share at circle time. Toys from home are to be kept in cubbies after sharing.
FULL-DAY STUDENTS:
Full-day children will need to bring the following items from home:
- Nap Stuff: A full-size crib sheet or twin size sheet, a small blanket, and a small pillow. Nap items will be sent home each Friday to be laundered. Please return them on your child's next school day.
- Lunch: Please, pack a healthy lunch each day, including a drink.
